An evaluation workshop on the implementation of the 3cd Program in Metro Manila was conducted on 16 February 2007 at the Makati City Hall, Makati City, Philippines. Thirty-nine (39) representatives from the 3cd pilot cities, national government agencies and civil society participated in the daylong activity. The workshop sought to achieve the following objectives:

1. Identify the helpful and hindering factors experienced in the preparatory phase of the 3cd Program.

2. Identify which of the goals in the Disaster Risk Management Master Plan (DRMMP) of Metro Manila should be kept, discarded, or expanded in Phase 2 of the 3cd Program.

3. Determine priority actions for each five areas of cooperation that need to be implemented in 2007–2009.

4. Determine steps to build on the gains of the Focus Groups and other priority actions or areas of cooperation, if necessary.
